SITE ADVISORY: No photos/videos prior to May 2008

Theo's photos and videos prior to May 2008 cannot be viewed because of a technical web hosting issue. This can be easily resolved, but because of the volume of the work, I may have to do it only during my limited free time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Recently, all that we've been doing on weekends has been packing, packing, packing, and even after 10 years in Japan, sometimes I still wonder what the "pack" I am doing here, hehehe... Besides, it's pollen season again, and for someone like me who is terribly allergic, venturing out is equal to sneezes, red eyes and itchy throat after just a few minutes.

While the pollen level was very high today, it was only moderate yesterday. Thus, late yesterday afternoon, Theo and I decided to venture outside and go to Akihabara where there's also a big park with some slides. Some snapshots below:





We're counting the days now before returning home, and although Theo has no idea what it's like in the Philippines, he's also excited to meet his cousins on both sides, particularly his cousins Lance and Jonjon.

Wrong Spelling!

Recently, Theo has been learning how to use a pencil and how to write. Unfortunately, he couldn't spell his name properly yet, and his handwriting is a bit shaky, hahaha... We will soon begin his schooling in the Philippines, and we surely hope that after some time, he will be able to do it correctly.

It's pollen season again (a.k.a. spring!) in Japan, and I, being allergic to pollen, don't seem to have the interest of going out because I know I'll just suffer in the evening with a runny nose, itchy eyes and lots of sneezing. So while Mommy D and Theo are currently outside, I opted to stay home. Besides, it was also tiring over the weekend to pack our things for shipment to the Philippines, so I thought it was better to just stay home, watch a video, and blog. I hope, however, that Mommy D took some pictures of TEHO, I mean, Theo outside for next week's blog post.

School Photos

Theo's school has recently shared some photos of the students to the parents and we ordered a couple for posterity, given that we are returning home to the Philippines for good next month to begin Theo's "real" education in my hometown.

The next three photos below show him and his friends, Taigai and Souta, preparing mochi. The rest are group photos taken at different periods throughout the year. The last one was taken last Saturday when we went to a flea market somewhere in Ikebukuro.
