Sunday Photos
Last Sunday, Mommy D and I met some old friends from the University of Tsukuba for lunch and some family time together. Being mothers themselves, these friends of ours also brought their lovely daughters along. In this photo, Theo is seen together with Emina (Yamada) and Eri (Takasu).
After lunch, Fujimori-san, the person who organized our get-together, brought us to the Gohan (Rice) Museum at Yurakucho, where the kids had a really enjoyable time, not only with playing with the onscreen game but also tasting some rice dishes. Overall, it was a really fun, enjoyable, and memorable time for us, esp. for Theo.
This Sunday afternoon, we passed by Ueno Park on our way to Ameyoko where Mommy D bought something from Body Shop. Theo loves wide open spaces, and whenever he is in one, he unleashes his boundless energies.
This eventually leaves him hungry, so we dropped by McDonald's for his favorite french fries before heading home. This photo was taken after he has had his fill.
Almost every evening, we try to read a book to Theo (the books courtesy of his Lola Nalik, Mama Tippi, and some that we picked up from flea markets), and when we read to him, he sits on our lap. So when Mommy D took out her Mickey Mouse stuffed toy this morning, he also placed him on his lap and "read" to him one of his favorite picture books about trains. This book, however, is in Japanese and, unfortunately, Mickey wasn't very interested, although he pretended to be.
